Vaughnda Hilton is the founder and the Master instructor of the Shotobox System (Cardio Kickboxing).  Shotobox is an intense cardio workout incorporating martial arts techniques from shotokan karate and boxing including: kicks, hand strikes and self defense.  Vaughnda founded this workout in 1986 and introduced it at the University of Pennsylvania at the Gwendolyn Bye Dance Studio in 1989.  Vaughnda is a 3rd Degree Black belt in Shotokan & Ju-jitsu and has been teaching martial arts since 1984.  She is a certified personal trainer and was a World Champion competitor in the NASKA circuit.  Vaughnda also has experience in weapons training and has competed in the U.S. Open Karate Championships in empty hand kata and in weapons (Sai & Bo).  Some of the Masters she has trained with are Professor Moses Powel, Haji Dawud, Shihan Sayfullah, Terri Moore, Master Natheniel McBride, Andrew Lyn Sr. and others.
